Albert graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Credit) from the University of Otago in 2010. He subsequently returned home to Auckland and worked in Pakuranga, near his old stomping ground, St Kents, before making the move to The Oral Care Company in 2019. Albert was born in Taiwan and moved to Auckland when he was 9 years old; he is fluent in Mandarin. 

 

Albert is a gentle and conservative dentist who enjoys building a trusting relationship with his patients. He understands that many people find visiting the dentist difficult, and he takes the time to understand your individual needs to put you at ease. 

 

Albert is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and the New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  His favourite part of dentistry is making teeth look and feel as good as new using tooth-coloured materials. He also enjoys endodontics (root canal treatment) and restoring dental implants to replace missing teeth. Albert is committed to ongoing learning and refining his clinical skills by attending conferences in New Zealand and abroad. 

 

Albert has two young daughters. He also owns a small  specialty coffee shop on Karangahape Road, with a focus on serving excellent coffee in a calm and beautiful environment. Having retired from competitive sport, Albert now enjoys playing basketball and indoor netball socially.
